About Dani

Who is Dani Tesler?

Dani Tesler is an AI product designer for B2B SaaS, marketplaces and 0→1 products. The work runs from early MVPs to mature platforms: design strategy, user flows, interfaces, design systems and brand. Dani has been a product designer at Oktopost since 2023, and before that designed for Comeet, Scalez, SMSEdge and Dojohome.

Where does Dani Tesler work now?

Dani Tesler has been a product designer at Oktopost, a B2B social media and employee advocacy platform, since 2023. Projects there include the Lobster design system, the Advocacy Board redesign, gamification, the post editor rebuild, branding and AI writing features.

Which companies has Dani Tesler designed for?

Oktopost (2023 to now, B2B social media and employee advocacy), Comeet (2021 to 2023, a collaborative applicant tracking system), Scalez (2020 to 2021, conversational AI marketplaces and the Savvy styling app), SMSEdge (2019 to 2021, an SMS marketing platform, as the sole product designer) and Dojohome (2019, a rent-to-own real estate platform, as product and brand designer).

How much experience does Dani Tesler have?

Dani has designed shipped products since 2019, across five companies, and has shared UI work on Dribbble since 2017. Dani started out modding Warcraft and StarCraft, which is where the habit of iterating with a team began.

Working together

What does Dani Tesler offer?

Six services, alone or bundled: Research & Validation (User interviews, Usability tests and A/B tests); Product Design & Prototyping (User flows, UI design and Prototypes); AI & Agent Experiences (Chat UX, Agent flows and Approval states); Design Systems (Tokens, Components and Guidelines); Brand & Visual Identity (Logo, Visual language and Brand guidelines); Marketing Design (Brand templates, AI pipelines and Resizing).

What kinds of products does Dani design?

Mostly B2B SaaS: publishing and employee advocacy (Oktopost), recruiting and applicant tracking (Comeet) and SMS marketing (SMSEdge). Also two-sided marketplaces (Scalez and its Savvy styling app) and 0→1 consumer products (Dojohome, a rent-to-own home platform). What they share is complex workflows that need to feel simple.

Can Dani design a product end to end?

Yes. At Dojohome, Dani designed the whole MVP with the founders: research, flows, UI, brand and illustrations. At SMSEdge, Dani was the sole product designer working with the CEO and CTO on research, the product, the website, the brand and motion. At Oktopost and Comeet, Dani takes features from research and flows to final specs and design QA.

AI, process and tools

What does an AI product designer do?

Two things. First, design AI features people trust: chat and agent flows with clear prompts, visible progress, human approval and graceful failure. Second, use AI inside the design process to explore more options, prototype in code and automate repetitive production work, while human judgment decides what ships.

Which AI products has Dani Tesler designed?

At Oktopost, Dani designed AI that sits beside the draft in the post editor and turns one rough idea into three options, instead of only rewriting text the user already wrote. At Scalez, Dani designed a conversational AI marketplace where AI interviews clients for human experts, and its first use case, Savvy, where a chat game replaced a styling questionnaire.

How does Dani use AI in the design process?

Dani feeds context (personas, constraints, brand guidelines) into AI tools, generates layout and UI variations, combines the strongest parts and polishes by hand where AI falls short on spacing, type and rhythm. Dani also vibe codes working prototypes in Cursor and Claude Code, and sets up agent pipelines that resize and format assets with a quality check at each stage.

What tools does Dani Tesler use?

Figma for design and prototyping, Cursor and Claude Code for AI-assisted design and code, Remotion for programmatic video, and Jira for delivery. Earlier work also used Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro, and Ant Design and Bootstrap 4 as component foundations.

Has Dani built design systems?

Yes, three. At Oktopost, Dani realigned the Lobster design system with layered tokens that separate a brandable accent from fixed status colors, so any customer brand color works. At Comeet, Dani started with one documented component library that every later redesign shared. At SMSEdge, Dani built one UI library within Bootstrap 4’s limits so every screen looked the same.

Does Dani do user research?

Yes: user interviews, usability tests with 5 to 8 participants, A/B tests, competitive analysis, card sorting and tree testing for information architecture. Findings are ranked by impact and effort, so the output is a roadmap.
